- How to apply. Scarless: squeeze out a small amount, spread a thin layer over the scar and rub in gently until it dries. RejuvaSil, according to its US product page: apply it two to three times a day and let it dry before clothing goes over the area.

What the evidence can and cannot tell us
Silicone as a class. Silicone gels and sheets are widely recommended in scar-management guidance, particularly for hypertrophic scars and keloids. However, systematic reviews have found that the certainty of evidence for some outcomes is low or very low.
The ingredients beyond silicone. The research on squalane and on vitamin C derivatives looks at the ingredients themselves, not at Scarless as a finished product.
A direct comparison. No published study comparing Scarless and RejuvaSil directly has been identified.

Which may suit whom
Each has documented features that may matter to different people:
- RejuvaSil may suit someone who wants a larger size: in the US it is sold in a 30 mL size as well as 15 mL. It may also suit someone who wants silicone sheeting to use alongside the gel, since the manufacturer sells sheeting and kits that pair it with the gel.
- Scarless may suit someone who wants a silicone gel whose complete ingredient list does not include emu oil. Sunscreen may be applied after Scarless has dried.
